Rebecca J. Oleson, Associate
Rebecca J. Oleson joined Cooper Cargill Chant in 2007. A New Hampshire native, Becky began her career as a secondary school teacher, teaching Science at the White Mountains Regional High School in Whitefield, NH. Prior to teaching, she completed four years of military service in the United States Army. New to the firm, her practice focuses on real estate development, corporate law, business transactions, estate planning and environmental law.
B.S. Lyndon State College, cum laude, 1999; J.D., Vermont Law School, cum laude, 2007; Master of Studies in Environmental Law, cum laude, 2007.
Becky has been active in her local communities, having served in Lancaster, NH as the Chairman of the Planning Board, a member of the Zoning Board and the Emergency Management Director. She has also volunteered as a Guardian ad Litem in the Orange County Vermont Family Court System; has been a reading mentor at the Tunbridge (Vermont) Elementary School and is a licensed Vermont Foster Parent. Becky is a member of both the Carroll County and New Hampshire Bar Associations.
Becky currently lives in North Conway with her two teenage children, Ben and Jessie. She is a sports enthusiast, who enjoys running, hiking, biking and skiing.
