Rebecca J. Oleson Elected to the New Hampshire Women's Bar
Association Board of Directors
North Conway, N.H. – October 28, 2008 – The attorneys at the law firm of Cooper Cargill Chant are proud to announce that Rebecca J. Oleson has been elected to the New Hampshire Women’s Bar Association (NHWBA) Board of Directors. Oleson is an Associate at the firm, practicing in the areas of real estate development, corporate law, business transactions, estate planning and environmental law.
The NHWBA promotes and supports the advancement and interests of women in the legal community. The organization does this through leadership, professional interaction, education and the exchange of ideas between their members and the community. The organization was founded in 1998.
Oleson will be the Board contact for female attorneys throughout Coos and Carroll counties, and will host a networking event in the area. She serves on a sub-committee that will analyze the costs and benefits of forming a NHWBA Charitable Foundation, and will help determine what that Foundation’s role should be.
Rebecca Oleson is a New Hampshire native who began her career as a secondary school teacher, and also served in the United States Army for four years. She graduated cum laude from Vermont Law School and earned a Master of Studies in Environmental Law in 2007. She is a member of both the Carroll County and New Hampshire Bar Associations. She lives in North Conway with her two teenage children.
