Christopher T. Meier Joins Cooper Cargill Chant

North Conway, NH - June 1, 2007 – The law firm of Cooper Cargill Chant announces that Christopher T. Meier has joined the staff as an Associate. Before joining Cooper Cargill Chant, Meier practiced in Massachusetts, with Mirick O'Connell, LLP and Sloane & Walsh, LLP, and clerked for the Justices of the Massachusetts Superior Court.

Meier concentrates his practice in the litigation of real estate and business disputes, focusing on issues of property law, zoning and municipal law and commercial fraud. Meier also counsels businesses and individuals on regulatory and corporate compliance, municipal permitting and litigation avoidance. He represents clients in both State and Federal courts throughout New England. He also works with clients appearing before administrative tribunals, municipal boards and private arbitrators and mediators.

Meier earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Lawrence University in 1994, and received his J.D. from the Boston University School of Law in 1998. He is a member of the Carroll County, New Hampshire and Massachusetts Bar Associations. Meier lives in North Conway with his wife and daughter. In his spare time he enjoys skiing, cycling, hiking, and spending time with family.
