Our rich history started when Robert B. Dickson and Peter H. Fauver combined their practices in1978 into one location on Pine Street in North Conway, New Hampshire. The new firm became Dickson & Fauver. Two years later Randall F. Cooper merged his active practice into the firm, and we became known as Dickson, Fauver & Cooper.Steady growth continued and in the early 1980s we expanded our building nearly doubling its size. In 1983 Robert B. Dickson was selected and appointed Superior Court Judge. We then welcomed Dorcas H. Deans as a partner, becoming Cooper, Fauver & Deans. In 1992 Peter H. Fauver was also selected and appointed a Judge of the Superior Court. Their elevation to the bench is a testament to the good people and great lawyers at our firm. When Judge Fauver left, Kenneth R. Cargill was named Partner and the firm has since hailed as Cooper, Deans & Cargill. Through the years, our firm has continued to grow and evolve. We maintained a strong commitment to our clients and the north country region of New Hampshire and western Maine as we sought and brought the highest caliber personnel to join our practice. Phillip A. Rader joined the firm in 1997, and suddenly died while practicing law on October 18,1999, and he will be sorely missed. Partners Paul W. Chant, Charles L. Greenhalgh and DennisL. Morgan joined the firm in 1999, 2000, and 2001 respectively. Associate Deborah A. Fauver rejoined the firm in 2004; and Associates Christopher T. Meier and Rebecca J. Oleson joined the firm in 2007. After a very accomplished career Dorcas H. Deans in 2007 voiced her desire to be Of Counsel. Today, Partners Randall F. Cooper, Kenneth R. Cargill, Paul W. Chant, Charles L.Greenhalgh and Dennis L. Morgan lead Cooper Cargill Chant into the future. |
