Randall F. Cooper, Partner
Randall F. Cooper is a third generation New Hampshire lawyer who has been practicing in North Conway since 1976, after having served as a line officer in the United States Navy. Randy’s legal experience is varied and significant, with an emphasis on land use law and real estate development. His personal beliefs are furthered by his reputation for defending constitutionally protected property rights. Randy has taken the lead in his profession to reinvigorate "trust" as the core value of the legal profession.

Education:

Attorney Cooper is a graduate of the Phillips Exeter Academy, Dartmouth College and Boston University School of Law.

Member:

As President of the New Hampshire Bar Association, Randy called for a statewide symposium on professionalism, resulting in the creation of a standing Professionalism Committee, the rewriting of the NH Litigation Guidelines, and the formation of a New Hampshire Professionalism Creed. As a member of the Executive Council of the National Conference of Bar Presidents, he was a member of both the Program Committee and the Professional Reform Initiative, advocating the first initiative to address lawyer truthfulness. [CDR, USN, 1969-1973; USNR, 1973-1994 (Ret.)]. Presently Randy is President of the Mt. Washington Observatory, which is celebrating its 75th Anniversary.

Family:

Randy is married to Carolyn Lucet, a clinical social worker, and has two sons, Riley, who is studying to be a medical doctor and Tristan, who is studying to be a lawyer. An avid golfer, you can find Randy on the greens of his favorite courses both here and in Scotland.
