Kenneth R. Cargill, Partner Kenneth R. Cargill began his career as a Certified Public Accountant employed by Ernst & Whinney (now Ernst & Young) in Hartford, Connecticut. Ken joined the firm during the summer of 1987 and has since served the business and estate planning needs of institutional and individual clients in New Hampshire and Maine by combining his legal and accounting skills to their advantage. University of Massachusetts (B.B.A., 1980); University of Connecticut School of Law (J.D., 1987). Certified Public Accountant, Connecticut 1982 Ken is committed to the support of his community and is frequently sought for his counsel. He has served on the Planning Board for the Town of Tamworth and the Conservation Commission for the Town of Conway. Ken has also been elected as Moderator for the Tamworth School District, the Town of Conway and the North Conway Water Precinct. In addition to his involvement in municipal government, he has actively served non-profit and charitable organizations including service as President and Trustee of the Gibson Center for Senior Services, Trustee and Treasurer of The Tamworth Foundation and as co-chairman of the Barnstormers Summer Theatre capital campaign. Ken acts as general counsel to many charitable and business organizations. He has also served as adjunct faculty teaching Real Estate and Business Law courses for the University System of New Hampshire’s Granite State College. Ken is a member of the Carroll County, New Hampshire and Maine State Bar Associations. Ken lives in North Conway and spends his free time cycling, skiing and enjoying the mountains, rivers and lakes with his sons, Ben and Jordan. |
